Would you be willing to put your green thumb to good use? We need nature loving volunteers to help us care for our park’s plant beds. Get your hands dirty and help us reduce the use of harmful chemicals, care for our wildlife and keep our flowers looking beautiful all year long.
- Responsibilities: Volunteers will assist with the gardening needs of the theme and container gardens. Duties include weeding, watering, planting and minor landscaping duties.
- Qualifications/skills: Love for outdoors, pleasant demeanor with visitors, basic knowledge on gardening is a plus.
- Supervision: Park Technician of Public Programs at Crowder
- Training: Appropriate training for specific work area

Located on 33 acres of landscaped grounds and hardwood forests, Crowder District Park offers citizens a variety of recreational and educational opportunities. Enjoy an afternoon walk or a picnic by the pond. Park amenities include three playgrounds, three picnic shelters, a sand volleyball court, play field, walking trails, restrooms, an outdoor amphitheater and a 3-acre pond with a boardwalk and an observation deck.
