Share workplace experience with women in Utah County who are in search of better employment opportunities. Mentor Women in Poverty who are looking to improve their financial situations by seeking for long-term successful employment! If you have successful long-term employment experience, you would make a great mentor for women participating in the Employment Program known as People Helping People! We meet every Wednesday from 5:30pm to 8pm at UVU's Career Development Center. Losee 409 Parking lot M20

Mission Statement
People Helping People is dedicated to reducing the number of children living in poverty by teaching low-income women, primarily single mothers, how to earn an adequate income through stable employment that pays a living wage.
Description
People Helping People is an employment program that uses Education, Coaching, and Mentoring to help Women in poverty find long-term successful employment. In Utah County, we offer 8 different workshops that focus on the importance of commitment, responsibility, and a positive attitude in the workplace. Our Coaching and Mentoring is done by professional and successful people in the community that build relationships with our clients to guide them through the job search process.
