Nebraska AIDS Project leads the community in the fight to overcome HIV/AIDS and its stigma through education, supportive services and advocacy. Come be a part of this amazing organization!! NAP is currently seeking to expand it's base of reliable volunteers to work the front desk. Duties include greeting clients, community members etc at the door, answering phones, transferring phones, relaying messages to staff and miscellaneous tasks as needed. Hours vary between 9am-5pm Monday- Friday in 2-3 hr shifts. We offer an online sign up system and a laid back environment. We request at least a 3 month commitment and prefer 6-12 months. We unfortunately cannot accomodate community service/probation/diversion needs as we cannot guarantee the number of hours available. Email chrysw@nap.org for application information.

Description
Today, our work is even more challenging than it was 26 years ago when we first opened our doors. As caseloads have increased, our funding has decreased. Despite these changes, NAP has stayed true to its mission of leading the community in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
We can’t do our work alone. NAP can only continue our efforts to battle HIV/AIDS with help and support from our community and volunteers.
