In our afterschool program, we promote self-sufficiency by helping children to increase academic achievement and decrease at-risk behavior. Volunteers work with elementary and middle school students to improve their literacy skills, through arts, crafts, experential learning and projects. The afterschool program takes place Monday through Thursday in two sessions: elementary school (2:45-4:30pm) and middle school (4:30-6:00pm).
