The primary focus of hospice care is quality of life through comfort, dignity and understanding. Whether you provide volunteer services in the home or long term care facility hospice is a compassionate way to deliver care and supportive services to terminally ill patients. Volunteers can make a difference in somone's life by simply being present. You can provide support and companionship to patients and families by giving caregivers a short break. What can you give in 45 minutes? Read, Play a game, Listen, Help Write letters, Give caregivers a short break Volunteer/Patient matches will be made close and easy for you. Lenexa, Overland Park, Olathe, Leawood, Roeland Park, Mission, Shawnee, Kansas Kansas, Paola, Gardner etc. This is a meaningful and life changing opportunity. We will make it easy for you!

Please bring your DL and Auto Insurance Card. TB Testing required and provided on site. Background Checks required. Location 11150 Thompson Avenue Lenexa KS 66219 look for signs and balloons. Drinks and food will be provided. Individual Trainings available upon request. Volunteers do not administer medications or perform any nursing duties.
