Caring and compassionate. Must be able to maintain patient and family confidentiality. Dog needs to hold a Pet Therapy certification from either Delta Society or Therapy Dogs International, be current on all shots and dog license. Dog also needs to have insurance. We can provide information on therapy dog trainers and testers and we also offer pet evaluations at various times at our headquarters location in Cleveland.

In celebration of the individual worth of each life, we strive to relieve suffering, enhance comfort, promote quality of life, foster choice in end-of-life care and support effective grieving.
Description
Hospice of the Western Reserve provides care for patients where ever they call home, whether that be at home, in a nursing home, assisted living, one of our inpatient units, or in a hospital. Care is provided regardless of ability to pay. We use a team approach where volunteers are of equal importance to all other members of the team.
Hospice of the Western Reserve serves Northern Ohio with offices in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, and Summit counties.CAUSE AREAS
