Those who have served in our armed forces feel the honor of having served our country, and some have even experienced the tragedy of loss while fighting for our freedom.
We're searching for citizens or especially fellow veterans who are willing to honor our hospice patients and become a companion too, with a certificate and a salute in recognition of their dedication to our country. Other activities might include sharing stories, reading history books, or writing memoirs to share with family and friends.
If you areinterested in volunteering as a companion, we would love to hear from you. Training and screenings are provided at no charge to our volunteers. Reliable transportation is desired.
