SHIBA Hot Line Counselor
SHIBA helps Medicare beneficiaries all over the state of Idaho by running a toll free hot line

You’ve seen the TV ads offering Medicare benefits that seem too good to be true. Would you like to learn the truth about Medicare, and then use your knowledge to help Idaho’s seniors make informed choices?

Idaho’s SHIBA program is training volunteers now.

SHIBA is part of a nationwide network of volunteers who are trained to give accurate, unbiased information about Medicare. As part of the SHIBA team, you’ll answer calls from all over Idaho and help clear up the confusion about "benefits you may be eligible for".

People who call the SHIBA helpline are extraordinarily grateful for the service and our volunteers often say this is the best job they’ve had.

You don't need any prior knowledge about Medicare to get started. We've trained hundreds of people in every corner of the state and we're confident you'll find this job challenging and rewarding.
