(PFAh713) What could be better than playing with dogs and helping to find them wonderful new homes? People for Animals is seeking volunteers to help at dog adoption events. Responsibilities include taking dogs for walks and talking with potential adopters. Events take place twice a month, generally on Saturdays from 11 am - 3 pm, at the Raritan,NJ Petco and the Flemington, NJ PetSmart. Dog and customer service experience is preferred but not required. Minimum age of 21.

Description
VMC provides volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups of all ages through our affiliation with over 500 not-for-profits, schools and government entities. VMC goes beyond matching to educating volunteers. Professional development is offered to volunteer managers, agency boards, and individuals wishing to serve on a not-for-profit board of directors. Business partnerships enable us to assist them in planning and executing volunteer projects. In addition, outreach and senior services are offered through friendly visiting and telephone reassurance programs.
