ORGANIZATION: Alzheimer's Association Washington State Chapter

The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research. The Walk to End Alzheimer's movement unites the entire community in a display of combined strength and dedication. This event would not be possible without the support our wonderful volunteers! As a volunteer, your contribution of time and energy to make the event a success is invaluable. Volunteers can provide support in a variety of ways - event setup, walker registration, sponsor assistance, breakfast distribution, table staffing, kids tent, route marshals, water stations, event breakdown and more! Walk day is busy, fun, and high energy! Volunteers will be working to accomplish essential tasks and interacting with walkers to make this a great experience.

Serving 47 counties in Washington and North Idaho, the Alzheimer’s Association Washington State Chapter is the premier resource in the Pacific Northwest for people impacted by Alzheimer's disease and all other dementia. Through five local offices and a network of dedicated volunteers, our Chapter offers a broad range of care and support services, education and advocacy, as well as funding for Alzheimer’s and dementia research.
