"Each volunteer helps to check in diners as they arrive for lunch and helps to serve hot nutritious catered meals during the lunch hour"

Our customers enjoy having a place to both socialize and partake in a warm nutritious meal. Helping serve these meals ensures they will be able to continue having access to healthy meals on a regular basis. As a volunteer you will truly make a difference in these Senior's lives. You'll have the opportunity to meet and get to know our customers through the various positions at the site -- and you will see how crucial this service is to helping them stay active and independent!

  • Meal Service - 11:00am-1:00pm.
  • There are seven different meal site where a difference can be made.

Description

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Volunteers of America provides volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 years and older to use their skills, insight and lifetime experiences to assist residents and non-profit agencies in the county. RSVP also offers a variety of programs which provide services and enhance the quality of life for seniors.
