Volunteers 55 or older are needed to be part of Disasater Preparedness Speaker Teams to be trained to give information about the advance preparatons needed for natural and manmade disasters. Teams will talk to senior citizens and others at churches, senior centers and senior housing areas such as mobile home parks throughout Adams County and eastern Arapahoe County (Aurora/Centennial and locations east to the Arapahoe County eastern boundary.) Speaking events will be held throughout the year in one-two hour talks.

Description
The Senior Hub's programs are designed to engage older Americans in meaningful volunteer activities in their local communities, and to provide services which will allow them to remain independently in their homes for as long as possible.
Senior Hub's RSVP - SHOUT (Senior Hub Outreach) helps people to find service opportunities in their own communities that match their personal interests and utilize their skills and lifelong experiences. Volunteers schedules are flexible and hours range from 2-20 hours a week.
