Thank you for your continued dedication to the Parks and Recreation Department. To protect public health and slow the rate of transmission of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), all recreation centers, pools, and facilities managed by the Parks and Recreation Department will close to the public until further notice. For the time being, all volunteers are asked to stay home, Thank you.

On the 4th Saturday of each month, between 9 am and noon, help us revitalize Chollas Creek! For decades the creek has been plagued by pollution, illegal dumping and the destruction of natural habitats. Unfortunately, the creek also drains into the San Diego Bay and pollutes our ocean. Please come out and help us protect our Bay by cleaning (and beautifying) our creek. Projects range from non-native plant removal, planting native plants (depending on time of year), trash pick up and trail maintenance.

For additional information, please contact project leader Ranger Tiffany Swiderski at TSwiderski@sandiego.gov.
