Special Olympics Santa Barbara is searching for volunteer BOWLING coaches to help train and mentor our bowling team during the fall sports season (September-December).
You do not have to be an expert bowler or have coaching experience to volunteer! Volunteer coaches are given all the tools and training needed to lead weekly practices. Practices occur on Sundays at Zodo's at 10am and are a great opportunity to earn some volunteer experience while spending time with the athletes of Special Olympics Santa Barbara.
Volunteers are required to complete Class A Volunteer paperwork before beginning volunteer work as a coach.
Anyone interested in learning more about becoming a bowling coach with Special Olympics is encouraged to attend our Bowling Coach Training on Sunday, September 28 th at Zodo’s Bowling & Beyond at 8am. This will give interested volunteers a great insight into the world of Special Olympics bowling. Please spread the word and bring a friend! For more information or to RSVP for the training, please contact Special Events & Volunteer Manager Michelle Duke.
