Thank you for your interest in Dress for Success San Jose! We are a volunteer driven organization and we simply could not operate without the time and effort of our volunteers. We need your time, enthusiasm and expertise! Below is an overview of volunteer opportunities available to help Dress for Success San Jose: * Personal Shopper: We are always seeking energetic, positivevolunteers to help our ladies look and feel fabulous! Personalshoppers help women choose their interview attire and preparewith a brief mock interview. Spend your time giving anotherwoman the best thing she can wear to a job interview: confidence! * Inventory Assistance: Help sort inventory and organize storage area. * Going Places Network Speaker/Mentor: Serve as a speaker for ourJob Search Program and inspire those looking to maximize their jobsearch. Staff will work with you to identify topic of seminar. In addition, we are always seeking volunteer mentors for ourwomen participating in our job search program. Giveconfidence and support to participants as they are learningtips and tools to find the job they love. * Professional Women’s Group Speaker: Serve as a speaker for one ofour monthly employment retention program that helps womenretain their positions and advance their career. * Career Center: Serve as a mentor by providing 1:1 assistance inresume writing, cover letter review and interviewing skills. * Professional Services: We depend on the kindness of lawyers,accountants, event planners and other professionals to donate theirtime for these critical services.
