My Girlfriends House is looking for a Director of Marketing to add to their Board of Directors. Our organization works with middle and high school young ladies in DC, MD and VA, to help enrich their lives. We are a new organization but are making huge strides in our community impact.

We are looking for someone who is motivated and willing to further our vision and mission by helping develop best management practices, stronger programs and help us become successful in our fundraising efforts.

• Marketing Strategy: Develop and oversee the implementation of the marketing strategy for the organization.
• Team Leadership: Collaborate with the sub-committees such as Social Media, Public Relations, Communications, Sponsorship, Volunteer etc.
• Growing Brand Recognition: Conduct ongoing brand positioning and market analysis.
• Being on the Cutting Edge: Social networks, tools, and other marketing tactics that align with the mission of the organization.
• Public Relations: Represent the organization. Build and maintain relationships with journalists, write press materials and respond to media inquiries.

Must have at least 10 years of professional marketing and leadership experience for this position.
