Volunteers!

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is looking for individuals to help us make our metal recycling program a success.

Our mission is to raise money for Habitat for Humanity by taking in donations of quality, new and used, building materials, furniture and appliances and then selling them to the public at a low cost. With the help of many wonderful volunteers like you, we are on track to raise enough money to build 9 homes this year! We are looking to increase that number and that means receiving more donations. We are going to receive approximately 10,000 donations this year and will need help.

If you like destruction, breaking things down, or seeing the inner workings of appliances or other metalic items this is a great fit for you We currently have a successful program where we have pulled in as much as $5,000 per truck load!! We are growing and have large backups and need help busting through it and sorting through the metals.

This is a great opportunity for the ReStore to fulfill it’s mission, and we hope to find some dedicated volunteers who can help us make this successful.

Volunteers must:

- Be willing to make a commitment (one shift per week), as this program requires training and consistency

- Be able to lift 30#, and disassemble equipment of all shapes and sizes
