The Buncombe County Area Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.
Wish grantor volunteers go in and interview the wish kids to determine their wishes, and then act as a liaison between the families and the Make-a-Wish staff to help make the wishes happen.
We are looking for volunteers who can travel to various parts of the region to help with the wish granting. We are most especially looking for volunteers who can help do wish granting in Asheville, NC and beyond.

Description
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Western North Carolina grants the wishes of children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 18 with life-threatening illnesses. Our chapter covers 51 counties in Central and Western NC and we have two offices, one in Charlotte and one in Greensboro.
