Since its inception in 2012, Catholic Charities’ Summer Lunch Program has provided nearly 4,500 free and nutritious meals to children ages 18 and under at the Susan Zubik Welcome Center in downtown Pittsburgh. Along with lunch, children enjoy enrichment activities throughout the 10-week program, from making crowns to playing "recycle bingo." A highlight is "DJ Dancing’ Fridays," when the kids dance and sing. The program runs M-F 11a - 1p. Come in one time or join us throughout the summer!
This is a great activities for Scouting groups and high school students. Come in and participate in the days activitiy or present one of your own. Most children in attandance ar 12 and under.
