Looking to make a difference in a young child's life? Volunteer Teacher Assistants with the Glassboro Child Development Centers provide support to classroom staff by engaging children in classroom and outdoor activities as well as providing assistance with direct services. Serve hands-on, assisting staff, providing children with interactive learning experiences.
Or, maybe you have a special talent or experience you would love to share? Volunteer as an Activity Specialist and share you gifts whether it be arts & crafts, reading, dance, nature, science, or many other imaginable activities. Activities vary and time allowance is flexible. Please inquire to discuss your talent/skill and availabilities!
Maybe you have a developed interest, experience, and/or education in sports and physical fitness? Volunteer as a Sports & Physical Fitness Specialist and assist children with learning the fundamentals of the BIG FOUR: baseball, basketball, hockey, and football.

The mission of the Glassboro Child Development Centers is to provide programs and enrichment for children and youth that offer opportunities which empower and assist parents with the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of their children.
Description
GCDC serves 350 children daily in early childhood and school age programs. We are a United Way agency and NJ After 3 partner. We use Creative Curriculum in our early childhood programs and our after school program provides core components that include academic enrichment, sports and fitness, technology programs, nutrition, service learning and visual and performing arts. Most of our programs are at little or no cost to our clients.
