Neighbors participates in several local parades each year. Volunteers are needed to carry banners and pass out candy and prizes to kids along the parade route with Delbert the Duck, our yellow duck mascot. Delbert attracts a lot of attention from the kids in the crowd which makes it exciting to walk with him. This is a fun family friendly volunteer opportunity--bring the kids or grandkids to help! Volunteer for one or all three of these upcoming parades:
- May - West St Paul Parade
- June - South St Paul Parade
- September - Inver Grove Heights Parade
At Neighbors, all donations and volunteer service directly supports the local community.

Since 1972, Neighbors, Inc. has ensured that all people in the northern Dakota County live hopeful, independent and self-sufficient lives. Volunteers serve their neighbors in need through programs such as a food shelf, Clothes Closet thrift store, holiday assistance, and much more.
