VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE STATEWIDE! The Vermont Long Term Care Ombudsman Project needs volunteers to visit nursing homes, residential care homes and assisted living facilities; research and resolve residents complaints; work with resident and family groups; and monitor care and conditions at facilities. Make a difference in the lives of vulnerable elderly and disabled residents of long term care facilities by being an advocate for their rights and helping resolve issues and concerns.
