Bilingual (Spanish speaking) volunteers are highly desired, especially those who are NJ State licensed beauty professionals and are willing to facilitate in Camden and in Vineland.
Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) is a free, non-medical, product neutral national cancer support program designed to help cancer patients learn how to cope with the appearance side effects of cancer treatments, by teaching them techniques to help restore their appearance and self-esteem through the use of makeup, wigs, scarves and other accessories. LGFB classes are facilitated by licensed beauty professionals who volunteer their time, and many sites require additional support by volunteers who need not be licensed. Volunteer assistants help setup the room, greet participants, assist the facilitator as needed and help keep participants comfortable. LGFB sessions are held at various locations throughout South Jersey during daytime and evening hours. Training provided.
