The Jingle Bell Run 5K is the Arthritis Foundation's annual signature fundraising event to raise awareness and funds for a cure. It is a fun and festive morning bringing together people from all walks of life to help conquer arthritis. Please see the list of job descriptions below. Friday, December 2
Event Set-Up: 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p. m.
Assist with event set-up, layout, decoration, tables/chairs and signage.
Saturday, December 3 (Event Day)
Event Set-Up: 8:00 a.m.
Assist with event set-up, layout, decoration, tables/chairs and signage.
Volunteer Registration : 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Register/check-in volunteers, hand-out volunteer t-shirts, direct volunteers to their stations.
Register new participants, hand out racing bibs and t-shirts to pre-registered participants.It will be loud and busy, so good listening and multi-tasking skills are essential for this job.
Refreshment Area: 8:00 a.m.- Noon
Hand out snacks and refreshments to volunteers, replenish as needed and keep area clean
Course Monitors: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Work with event officials to help direct runners & walkers helping to make this a fun and safe event. You can cheer them on, too! Volunteers must be 18 year or older.
Kids Area: 8 :30 a.m. - Noon
Work in the kids area to help kids with crafts, games, and kids fun run.
