Adult Team Leaders are needed to assist with various gleaning opportunities throughout Connecticut Food Bank's 6 county service area throughout thefall. Volunteers must be able to lift 40-50 lbs, have experience in a leadership role, have a valid CT drivers license, their own transportation and a flexible schedule. When we are contacted by a farm/orchard to come pick produce a team leader will be assigned to the event. Team leaders will work closely with staff and orchard/farm managers to set up the event, sign-in, instruct and supervise volunteers while on site.
This opportunity is NOT available for fulfiling court requirements or for special needs clients.
