Job Coach
Make someone's day! Be a Job Coach!

The Orangevale Library seeks a Job Coach to help patrons with a variety of questions dealing with job searching, resume writing, interview etiquette and any other concerns that they may have encountered while trying to find a job. Activities may include creating an email account and demonstrating how to conduct online job searches and submission of job applications.

The qualified candidate will: introduce and guide job seekers to the library databases that are associated with job and skills preparation; help create a job resume from scratch; provide feedback for existing resumes; and coach on interview preparation,

Training will be provided however, it is expected that you bring relevant experience to the program. The Job Coach meets on a bi-weekly basis on SATURDAYS in a 2 hour session. Job seekers are able to drop-in or schedule an appointment ahead of time.
