OPCC will be the benefitting charity of the 14th Annual Vintage Hollywood Wine Tasting Event on Saturday, June 13th at a home in Beverly Hills.
How You Can Help...
Day Volunteers - We will need 15 volunteers to help with set-up from 9am to 2pm. This will include carrying and placing signage, dressing the tables, placing centerpieces and all the things it takes to make the event go off flawlessly.
Event Volunteers - Shifts for the event volunteers begin at 3:30pm. Please note you will be standing throughout this event. All evening volunteers must be 21 and over. Most people will fill a variety of roles throughout the course of the evening. All volunteers are expected to be flexible and help wherever needed.
If you want to volunteer for either the day or evening, please click here or go to http://opcc.ivolunteer.com/ to sign-up. The password to sign into the site is VH2015! For planning purposes, I would ask that you complete the online registration now or no later than Friday, June 5th.
If you have any questions please email me at dmiller@opcc.net. Once you sign-up, additional details will be emailed to you.

Mission Statement
The People Concern believes no one should have to live on the street or in a violent household. Our staff, volunteers and those we serve work together to address the effects of homelessness, poverty, mental and physical illness, abuse and addiction to ensure that all of our neighbors have access to the resources they need to be housed, healthy and safe. All new volunteers will need to complete our internal orientation course.
Description
The People Concern is one of Los Angeles County’s largest nonprofit social service agencies. We strive to end homelessness by providing care and support for those experiencing it, through outreach, housing, mental and medical health care, substance use services, domestic violence services, life skills & wellness programs and income assistance.
Since 1963, we have been the leaders in our field. Our staff, volunteers and those we serve all work together to address the effects of homelessness, poverty, mental and physical illness, abuse and addiction. We work to educate the broader community about these issues and improve public policy. The People Concern is a family - one dedicated to a community where everyone, regardless of the struggles they are overcoming, is housed, healthy and safe.
