If you enjoy meeding people from all over the World this is the job for you! The OREGON CONVENTION CENTER hosts local, regional , national and international events. Be in the "front & center" locations you greet visitors, give directions, offer dining tips, suggest and help plan places to visit and how to get there. We provide you with all the resources you need to supply this information.
Volunteers receive thorough training followed by on-going educational, social and recognition activities. They also receive a monthly newsletter & complimentary parking. The OREGON CONVENTION CENTER is located on MAX and Tri-Met stops.

The mission of the Oregon Convention Center Volunteer program is to enhance the quality of the guest's experience and contribute to the economic well-being of the Oregon Convention Center and the Portland metropolitan area by providing service information to visitors. We are honored to serve the public interest and we demonstrate that by holding ourselves to the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior. We value the trust that the public places in us by being effective in our work, being open and honest in our public contacts and by honoring the commitments we make. Description
The Oregon Convention Center is managed by MERC, a subsidiary of Metro. MERC contributes to the region's cultural and economic vitality through management and stewardship of regional public assembly facilities.
Walk into the Oregon Convention Center and you are immediately greeted by a warm, smiling face - one that frequently belongs to an Oregon Convention Center volunteer. That's right, a volunteer! Currently over 80 volunteers donate their time and effort to make the Oregon Convention Center a superior facility and a great place to visit! Whether they are welcoming visitors, directing attendees to a show or meeting, or donating time to a volunteer committee, the volunteers help to make our twin towers shine!
