At Hospice Select we strive to continually cultivate a culture that values integrity over profitability, excellence in the details, compassionate care, and joyful service. Volunteering with us is an opportunity to join us in living out these values whether visiting a patient to provide companionship, helping with facility events, or helping us in the office.
Hospice Select is seeking compassionate, caring, and empathetic volunteers to be a companion to patients at their homes, long-term care facilities, or nursing homes.
As a volunteer, you may spend time with the patient reading, listening, conversing, sitting quietly, playing games, listening to music, running errands, meal prepping, transporting patients to appointments, completing chores/yard work, and/or providing company. Volunteers do not provide hands-on or medical care for patients. As a volunteer with Hospice Select, you play an important role in making an impact in the community by supporting patients and their families and brightening their days!
*Due to COVID-19, volunteers can only visit patients at their homes. If you are interested in this opportunity, but do not feel comfortable volunteering at this time, please reach out so we can contact you when other opportunities arise.
Please contact us for more information on how to join our team! We look forward to hearing from you.
