The Oregon Jewish Museum seeks a qualified intern to assist in the museum's front galleries.

OJM interns work closely over a period of several months with museum professionals on varied projects to gain insight into the workings of the museum. Tasks include, but are not limited to: giving docent tours of current exhibition, reception desk customer service, publicity material creation and distribution, data entry, and gallery preparation.

A gallery intern provides a warm welcome and excellent customer service to visitors/guests/members; collects admissions/program fees; provides light administrative support, directs guests to programs and appointments, answers general information and membership questions, performs light computer research; keeps reception area neat and stocked with informational materials.

Internship can be extended depending on desire and performance.
