We need people who can commit to a minimum of an hour per week working at our store. The hours are 9:30- 4:30 weekdays. Duties include sorting through donations, organizing and supervising the store. The Sheridan Hollow Drop-In Center is the only one of its kind in Albany County and assists individuals as they move toward self sufficiency. The Drop-In Center is a safe-haven during the day for homeless individuals and those at risk of homelessness providing showers, a laundry facility, play area for children, daily meal, lockers, access to an office for business purposes, weekly life skills groups, community room, clothing pantry, bus token program, and case management services. Case management includes crisis intervention, goal planning, assistance with life skills such as budgeting, self advocacy, resource exploration, and referrals to service providers.
