To become a Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada volunteer, submit a volunteer application online at www.catholiccharities.com/volunteer. All service must be scheduled in advance using the online system. All volunteers must be 12 or older to volunteer.
Volunteer in the St. Vincent Lied Dining Facility assist us with providing meal service to homeless and vulnerable men, women and children. We prepare an average of 1,000 nutritious meals in a clean and safe environment each and every day of the year. Volunteer duties may include distributing serving trays; serving food; providing table service to clients with physical disabilities; washing/sanitizing used dishes and trays; wiping tables; sweeping/mopping floors and more.

Since 1941, the mission of Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada has been to serve those in need - the most vulnerable - regardless of race, religion or creed. This leading community resource offers help and hope with dignity as it strives to meet the diverse needs of men, women and children in Southern Nevada. Through the generosity of foundations, grants, organizations and individual donors, Catholic Charities operates 16 programs providing support to more than 4,200 people daily and encompassing four core areas: Family Services, Food Services, Immigration and Refugee Services and Homeless and Housing Services. Catholic Charities also operates the largest Meals on Wheels program and Emergency Shelter Services in Southern Nevada.
