One Day Only Event - YOU Can Make a Difference! Saturday, June 14...
Looking for individuals and groups to help out at a community event benefiting Gerry’s Emergency Food Pantry, a program of the SHARE Fund of Rochester, NH.
WINGS AND WHEELS
is sponsored by the Rochester Police Dept. at the Skyhaven Airport in Rochester on Saturday, June 14, 2014.
This will be an exciting fun-filled event with a classic car, motorcycle, & plane show; scenic plane rides; helicopter rides; demonstrations by the police & fire departments; contests & raffles; many local food vendors; bounce house; dunk tank; and much more!
We have a variety of volunteer positions open and will try to match people to their interests.
The event is open to the public from 10am - 2pm and volunteers are asked to be there at 8am.
If you or your group, organization, or corporation is community-service minded and would like to be part of this event to help out a great cause which prevents/alleviates hunger for over 5,000 people annually, please contact the SHARE Fund as soon as possible.

Mission Statement
The SHARE Fund is a 501c3 non-profit, volunteer, charitable outreach program which provides various types of material and financial support to families and individuals in need during emergencies or times of severe hardship.
Description
The primary goal of the SHARE Fund Program is to provide the needed resources of food, clothing and affordable housing to the less fortunate of our community. We reach out to our brothers and sisters in need, to help them maintain dignity during difficult times, provide lifestyle guidance and direct them to other agencies, when eligible, thus maximizing aid.
We operate Gerry's Emergency Food Pantry, located at the Rochester Community Center, to address hunger issues in our community. Also located in the Community Center, the SHARE Fund offers the Community Clothing Shop which provides free clothing and household goods to the needy and sells merchandise at low prices to the general public to generate funds for our assistance programs. For those in need of housing and utility assistance, our Emergency Financial Services provides help with rent, security deposits, electric bills, and heating costs. Our Medical Assistance services provide financial help with emergency medical and dental needs and our Community Diaper Bank provides free diapers to families in need.
