Fremont Seniors Need Your Help to Remain Independant!

ORGANIZATION: Volunteer Services

Make the difference for a neighborhood senior to help them remain in their homes. A little help with vacuuming, laundry, shopping, mowing or even gutter cleaning, will bring so much support to an individual who can no longer safely perform these tasks.

Volunteers can choose their tasks and schedule, many opportunities are available in the evening or on weekends.

Great opportunities for individuals, families or even small groups.

VCS is a program of Catholic Community Services. VCS provides volunteers who help with the living independence of low-income elders and people living with disabilities. Volunteers are matched to someone based on their interest and volunteering is done on YOUR schedule, in YOUR neighborhood! Just help once to four times a month doing housework, shopping, transportation, yard work, minor home repair, and companionship and make a huge difference in someone's life. Mileage reimbursed, orientation provided, and background check required. Location shown is approximate; client location given after orientation.

Click "I want to Help" to take the first step in improving your community. A registration packet will be emailed to you. Once you've filled it out, send it to Belina at belinav@ccsww.org or call 206-328-6849 with any questions.
