Volunteers, ages 55 and older, needed to serve lunch to people experiencing hunger and in need of a hot, healthy meal.. Help needed to prepare and serve lunch and dining room clean-up following lunch. 3 hour shifts available from 9-3PM, Monday through Friday. Pick whatever day works for you.

To match volunteers, 55 years of age or older who reside in Nassau County, with volunteer opportunities through our Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) .
Description
Volunteer opportunities include delivery, collection and service of food, friendly visiting, providing transportation to those in need of transport to medical appointments and other essential appointments. Volunteers may be needed in other areas as well.
