Citizenship Class Instructors are currently being sought at the following San Diego County Library Branches: San Marcos (Wednesdays, 9:30am to 11am), 4S Ranch (Mondays, 1pm to 2:30pm), Poway (Mondays, 6:30pm to 7:45pm), Vista (Tuesdays, 6pm to 7:30pm) and Ramona (Tuesdays, 6pm to 7:30pm).
- Requirements- High School Diploma- U.S. citizen- Pass County's background check - Fluent English Speaker
- Responsibilities- Teach civics to prospective citizens using established curriculum, workbooks and materials.- Help students understand citizenship application questions. - Collect and report records of students and their attendance. - Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Commitment- A minimum of 6 months- Class is once weekly for an hour and a half.
