This program has been developed in order to promote intergenerational relationships between teens and patients with social activities, life review, and cheer visits.
Hospice VolunTEENS is a summer volunteer program with all partcipants invited to continue through the Fall and Spring if they desire. VolunTEENS will complete a volunteer training with their peers and then go on supervised visits to local nursing facilities. Together teens will brighten the days of those receiving hospice care in their community!
We also accept teen volunteer throughout the school year to volunteer as a group or on your own!
Due to COVID-19 we are unable to visit patients in-person at this time; we do have volunteers who are making cards or phone calls.
