DRIVERS - Good hearts needed to help MDA

MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association) is hosting a lock-up fundraiser and MDA is seeking volunteer drivers to serve as "MDA officers"for the day. Drivers needed with good driving records to help shuttle "GOOD" jailbirds to our jail site to celebrate their fundraising efforts to assist with health care services and MDA summer camp for families fighting Muscle Disease and ALS. BIBS Downtown is hosting the event by allowing MDA to use their location as the "jail site" for the day on May 13th.

Reliable drivers with good driving record are needed from 7:45 AM - 4 PM. Contact Martha Story at 856-1591 if you would like to apply. MDA must perform a drivers license check in advance so you must apply prior to May 1 to ensure time for DMV check results.

DRIVERS (Arresting Officers) 8 hours 7:45 AM - 4 PM Training begins at 7:45 AM

(Driving background checks must be performed by MDA and must be current. Drivers for events need to report to drivers’ meeting usually at 8AM the day of the event to prepare for first pick-ups by 9 AM. Once an hour is complete then the driver will get the next hour assignment for pick-ups from the Transportation Manager assigned for that day.)
