As a Child Life Volunteer, you will have opportunities to play with children of all ages in a playroom or in their room. some kids will be excited to have the chance to paint a picture or work on a puzzle. Our youngest patients, infants and toddlers, often enjoy being held and comforted. Patients 11 and older may want to hang out in the Teen Lounge. Whatever the need, Child Life Volunteers are very beneficial for our patients.

Description
Since 1952, volunteers have contributed thousands of hours of service to the patients, their families, and to the staff of Driscoll Children's Hospital. Our volunteers work in a variety of areas to provide an added dimension of attention and are an invaluable part of the hospital team.
These volunteers are also the ambassadors to our community. This service and dedication contributes to the efficiency of the hospital and creates a unique caring atmosphere.
