Tutoring

Become a remote literacy tutor. You'll be amazed what you learn!

Using Google Meet from the safety and comfort of your home, you can tutor a child, youth or adult in reading, writing, ESL, math, critical thinking skills, GED test prep and more.* We offer assistance getting started with the program, as well as individualized learning programs for our learners and tutors.

Break the cycle of illiteracy and promote education and a lifelong love of learning.

We accept a wide range of experience and skills. The desire to help others is the number one priority.

You will need to have a computer and a high-speed internet connection.

Public libraries in Idaho seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
