The Salvation Army Red Bank Corps' Jane H. Booker Community Center is a very popular venue for local sports teams. It is rented out to various leagues, workshops and fitness groups throughout the week. It is especially busy during the weekends, when office personnel is not available to make sure that rules and regulations are being met up to contract standards by the renters.
Volunteers are needed to help oversee the proper use of the facility in a minimum of two-hour increments or according to rental schedule. The Gymnasium Caretaker would be responsible for watching over the gymnasium, its immediate grounds, restrooms and offices, while it is scheduled for use. The volunteer will make sure that no one is vandalizing, misusing equipment or materials, including the restrooms and report any incidents to the Director of Children's Programs.
This is a perfect opportunity for anyone 18 years old or older needing to accomplish community service hours. Volunteer hours would assure that the Jane H. Booker Community Center continues to be a safe and secure environment use and enjoyed by many.
