KTMB's Great Community Cleanup is a chance for residents to come together and make a positive difference for everyone who lives in the Truckee Meadows, while drawing attention to the economic and health hazards of illegal dumping and invasive weeds. Illegal dumping deters new business, housing and tourism, but disposing of our trash properly encourages new industry, employs neighbors and supports our local economy. We're working with your friends, co-workers and employers to make the Truckee Meadows America's cleanest community. All we need is you on Saturday, May 10, 8-Noon! Sign up at ktmb.org/volunteer

Dedicated to creating a cleaner, more beautiful region through waste reduction, education, and active community involvement for over 30 years
In 2023, KTMB is still dedicated to creating a cleaner, more beautiful region through waste reduction, education and active community involvement. All of our programs are geared toward educating the public about the economic and health hazards of litter and illegal dumping; reducing our waste; eliminating trash from our parks, roadways and open spaces; making our community a beautiful and safe place to live; and giving opportunities for residents and businesses to take pride and ownership in their home.
