Coordinate with various teams in the organisation

Volunteer Recruitment, Recognition and maintenance of volunteer records

Take care of daily administrative duties

Assess staff needs for support, and develop office staffing solutions to meeting their need

Coordinate computer systems, communications systems and databases with IT oversight, in coordination with IT Manager, including development of IT policies and procedures.

Assists Development Team with grants research, preparation and time lines

Responsible for the acquisition, use, repair, maintenance and inventory of all equipment, furnishings and supplies.

Develop and administer policies and procedures for effective and efficient management of the office and operations in outreach sites

Oversee Staff/consultant contracts, arrange compensation and ensure compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements

The specific purpose of this corporation is for service, research and training:

  1. To provide counseling, psycho- educational services and cultural awareness programs for newcomer families and their children that is respectful of ethnic values and diverse views, including State Laws pertaining to Child Protection, Domestic Violence, Educational, Immigration and other areas.
  2. To provide a setting for professionals who work with stressed families in newcomer and other circumstances to gain knowledge and skills to help them be effective in their work.
  3. To develop a knowledge base for dissemination of practices, methods and concepts for use in the broad mental health and Social Services field.
