Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Registered Nurses are responsible for taking all positive STD result appointments and administering treatment. They also have the same roles and responsibilities as a Client Advocate. Registered Nurses who are certified in sonography may conduct first trimester ultrasounds. Training is provided.

You will be trained and certified to perform limited first trimester ultrasounds for women contemplating abortion as a solution to their unplanned pregnancy.

Any Woman Can is a Christ-centered ministry serving individuals who want to make better choices, whether facing an unplanned pregnancy or seeking to experience a better life.

Description

Any Woman Can (AWC) was formed in 2013. AWC is a faith-based service organization and an affiliate of Care Net. AWC is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization funded entirely by donations from individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations. AWC is staffed by volunteers, full-time, and part-time employees.

AWC assists women experiencing unplanned pregnancies by offering free pregnancy tests, limited first-trimester sonograms, and options counseling. AWC also provides STD testing and STI treatment for men and women. AWC also provides an LPC internship program aimed at supplying extensive counseling and group therapy for clients. Currently, AWC offers women’s counseling, couple’s counseling, family counseling, and group therapy classes.

We intend to be primarily staffed by faithful and willing volunteers. It is our hope to be able to provide the people we serve with the highest levels of care and professionalism. In pursuit of this goal, every volunteer will go through a comprehensive training period.
