We're looking for someone who is good at multitasking, organized, has strong delegation skills and communication skills, and has previous event planning experience. The candidate should be able to plan events with no budget through sourcing donations and partnerships.
Event duties include the following or the delegation of the following:
1) pre-event duties: set event goals, target audience, work with marketing team to promote, create event timeline
2)event duties: be point person for run of show, volunteer coordination
3)post event: recap, survey volunteers, analysis, thank-yous

The Austin chapter consists entirely of volunteers who fundraise to support Room to Read's programs and raise awareness of Room to Read in our local community. Room to Read is a global organization seeking to transform the lives of millions of children in the developing world by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education.
