Common Things Thrift Store needs individuals to work in customer service, donation processing, and general store operations. Some of our volunteers use this to build their resume others to just give back to the community. Volunteers help in all aspects from taking in donations, sorting, processing, and pricing items. Additionally, volunteers work directly with our custmers. The store not only provides low cost quailty used clothing and other resale items, it supports our two food pantries and other outreaches to help families in need.
The store is open Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 5 pm.

Common Heart is a non-profit that helps both families in crisis and those in the community to understand the causes of poverty and how to be part of the solution in practical ways. Common Heart has several food pantries (Common Cupboard) & boutique thrift shop (Common Things). Common Heart also offers several other services: free tax service, Getting Ahead Program, Bridges Out of Poverty Program and more.
