- Successfully recruit underprivileged youth to participate in a unfamiliar yet productive activity of wrestling

Mission Statement
The Beat the Streets Wrestling Program of Baltimore is committed to providing the resources to support a positive environment that nurtures physical and mental development through wrestling, mentorship and tutoring. The organization will develop a network of BTS programs throughout the Greater Baltimore area schools and communities. BTS-Baltimore will endeavor to display the values of Honor, Loyalty, Self-discipline, Perseverance, Selfless Service, and Pride in our daily practices. We will strive to impart these values on our BTS student-athletes, families, associates, and communities with the hope to create positive life values through positive life lessons.
Description
Wrestling is a sport in which children of varying sizes, weights and athletic abilities can all participate. The core values of the organization's program include self-awareness, personal responsibility and understanding differences amongst people. Youths in the program will be comprised of various races, socioeconomic status and religious beliefs.
Community and school based teams hone in on students in grade 6th-8th. Student participate on each sites wrestling team and also the mentoring and tutoring curriculum provided by BTS.
Student also participate in fundraising, volunteering, field trips, financial and leadership classes, and college tours.
