Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care is looking for volunteers to join our amazing team of hospice providers. What does it mean to be a hospice volunteer?

Socialization - this can include playing card/board games, life review and reading

Companionship - this can include light hand holding, reading, reviewing photos and books together and is especially important for patients that may not have family who can visit on a consistent basis. This can also include being a companion to a patient's caregiver.

Relief Care - this is when we can offer to be with a patient for a period of time that allows their caregiver to take time for themselves to either go to the store or an appointment and be at peace knowing that we are there with their loved one.

Namaste - this program bring gentle stimulation to our dementia patients and allows us to bring pieces of their past back to them through colors, photos, scents and tactile stimulation.

Veteran to Veteran - we are in search of veterans that would like to offer their time to spend with our patients that have served our country. We are currently building up a veterans program that will fit the needs of our veterans on service with us.

These are only a few examples of the wonderful things our hospice volunteers bring to our patients, familes and friends.
