The Elmhurst Branch Library(1427 88 th Avenue) is seeking a volunteer Computer Tutor to help patrons at this wonderful neighborhood library on Friday afternoons.
You can make a big impact by helping library patrons one-on-one with basic computer skills and with faxing, printing, and making copies.
Choose any 2-hour block while the library is open on Fridays (12:00-5:30 pm) and plan to make a regular commitment for at least six months. The library will promote your volunteer shift as a good time for patrons to come in for computer help.

Our locations currently include 16 branches, a Main Library, a Second Start Adult Literacy Program, the Tool Lending Library, and the African American Museum and Library. We also offer many other special services for residents of Oakland and California.
