Our annual wine and beer festival is May 24 th! Brew at the Zoo features beer and wine tastings, special animal encounters, live musical entertainment and much more! Volunteer at an exotic outdoor destination featuring nearly 1.400 animals and America’s only giant panda twins!
Volunteer Requirements:
- All volunteers who would like to participate must be 21 years of age and have their ID with them.
- Wear solid color pants and shirts (no obvious logos - UNLESS it is a shirt representing your group or company) and comfortable closed toe shoes.
- Volunteers that serve 4 hours or more will be provided with a hour dinner break
Group Volunteer Opportunities:
- Event set-up: 1:00 - 4:00 pm, 10 volunteers max
- Event set-up: 2:00 - 6:00 pm,10 volunteers max
- VIP Assistant: 3:30 pm - 7:00 pm, 3 volunteers max
- VIP Assistant: 4:30 - 7:30 pm, 2 volunteers max
- VIP Assistant: 7:00 - 9:30 pm, 2 volunteers max
- Guest Check-In and ID checkpoint: 3:30-7:30 pm, 6 volunteers max
- Guest Check-In and ID checkpoint: 7:00-9:00 pm, 2 volunteers max
- Will Call/Guest Check In: 3:30 - 7:30 pm, 2 volunteers max
- Cup/Map Distribution: 4:30-7:30 pm, 2 volunteers max
- Cup/Map Distribution: 4:30-9:30 pm, 2 volunteers max
- Satellite stations: 4:00 - 8:00 pm,12 volunteers max
- Satellite stations: 4:30 - 9:30 pm, 8 volunteers max
- Game Areas: 4:30-9:30 pm, 6 volunteers max
- Pretzel Stations: 4:30 - 9:00 pm, 2 volunteers max
How to Sign-Up:
- E-mail the Zoo Atlanta volunteer supervisor at volunteer@zooatlanta.org
- Group Contact Information, Lead Contact, phone number and e-mail
- Provide the total number of volunteers in your group
- Let us know your first, second and third volunteer opportunity preference (we will do our best to accommodate you)
If any of these volunteer opportunities appeal to you, please confirm as soon as possible for the volunteer position(s) that you want because spaces are limited and can fill up quickly. Volunteers, who work the entire event, will receive a ticket to Zoo Atlanta as an extra thank you. Volunteers, who work part of the event, may stay and enjoy the event after their shift.
